Nimdy is an NGO based in Switzerland with the goal of supporting and implementing Global projects for the education of children and adults. All donations are invested directly into the projects and all members work on a voluntary basis. The context of these projects involves a respectful and peaceful interaction with all cultures and religions.
This humanitarian approach includes a high regard for the individual traditions and cultural customs.
Nimdy believes in a world where every human being can live in dignity, safety, security and peace. We all have the power to make a difference and no selfless gesture is insignificant. It seems to be the little gestures we do for one another that hold the keys to true peace — peace in the individual, peace in the community and peace among diverse cultures, nations and faiths. We can all help in the building of a better world.
Gye-Nyame Kidz Foundation is a school project we started in Ghana in a village named Ahodjo near Nsawan in the eastern region in conjunction with a local young man there. It provides early childhood development for 2 to 11 year olds and is also a source of support for their parents and the community.
Donezk Ukraine. Although the war in the east of Ukraine has disappeared from the headlines, it still continues. The victims are the civilian population, which are affected both directly and indirectly. The enormously cold winters make the survival in the bombed houses even more difficult. Many people have no way to flee and endure inhuman conditions.
Nimdy supports four small organizations active in the Donetsk war zone.
